The Body-Centered Coaching Method™ Certification

Description:

The Body-Centered Coaching Method™ is a somatic (body-centered) approach that is grounded in the latest research in neuroscience and mindfulness and gives coaches an advanced level toolkit to create sustainable change with their clients. This class builds on the fundamentals learned in the Introductory Class and takes your coaching to the next level!

Upon completion of this program, you will:

  1. Have the training and experience to provide a whole-person-centered approach that invites clients to access the body's wisdom and experience a greater depth of insight, self-awareness, and self-acceptance.
  2. Have a deeper and more thorough understanding of the context in which each strategy may be beneficial in working with a client.
  3. Have competence and confidence with Body-Centered Method™ strategy application and integration into the full coaching conversation/session structure.
  4. Have competence with the integration of more than one strategy into client exploration, especially when working with Module 3 strategies (Embodying the Resource, Embodying the Metaphor Embracing the Signal).
  5. Have deeper self-awareness as a coach.
  6. Have a deeper client-centered focus, which promotes deeper coaching presence.

Prerequisite and Must Haves to Take this Class:

  • The Introduction to Body-Centered Coaching. 
  • You must be a certified coach or equivalent with prior approval from Annalise Evenson.
  • Have at least 4 coaching clients for recording supervision sessions and practicing the method.
  • Have a method for recording coaching sessions for playback for the certification process for supervision/evaluation.

Certification Completion Requirements:

  • Class Attendance: All participants are required to attend 80% of the 20-hour in-class portion (8 of the 10 classes). Missed classes can be made up by listening to the class recording and answering questions provided by the instructor.
  • Demonstration of Coaching Proficiency: All participants are requested to submit and required to pass 6 client recordings (two coaching strategies from each of the three modules) to demonstrate competence using the strategies. Recording reviews are scheduled individually with Annalise. You will meet and play the recording using Zoom. All recordings should be submitted and reviewed within 6 months of the class start date.
  • Complete a course evaluation.

Program Resources:

Required: Body Mind Spirit Coaching - An Integrated Body–Centered Approach - The Complete Manual, 2012 (purchased with the Introduction to the Body-Centered Coaching Class).

You will receive the Zoom Invite for all Classes and the Class Syllabus/Reading Chart one week prior to the first class.

Tuition: $1600.00 or 4 payments of $415.00 (First payment is due before the start date. The following 3 payments are due prior to classes 4,7 and 10).

The tuition includes 10 classes and up to seven (7) one-on-one Proficiency Demonstration sessions. This allows for one repeat of a strategy that did not pass the first review. Any additional sessions for strategies that did not pass the initial review are charged $100.00/session.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation prior to 10 calendar days prior to the start of the training will result in a refund of your payment less a $100 administrative fee. No refunds are available after the 10-day window.
