Setting Your Heart
on Fire :
Seven Invitations to Liberate Your Life
By Raphael Cushnir
Cushnir expands on seven basic principles which
he believes you need to adopt in order for you to more fully liberate
your life, set your heart on fire and feel love.
His first invitation to you is an encouragement
to feel everything, to allow yourself
to experience the full range of your emotions, not just the "good"
ones. He suggests that you become curious about the various ways
that you deny specific emotions and become interested in why that
is so. By doing so, you will develp the capacity to reconnect with
yourself and with others.
His second invitation to you is question
everything. What are your beliefs about yourself,
about others, about the world? When you uncover a limiting belief
that disempowers you, then let it go - find an empowering belief
to replace it.
His third invitation to you is resist
nothing. Embrace your current reality and learn to
accept and be peaceful with what is. This is the foundation for
a peaceful relationship with self.
His fourth invitation to you is live
like you're dying. Be grateful for what you have and
live life to the fullest in the present moment. Become clear on
your purpose in life and live it authentically.
His fifth invitation to you is live
like you're dreaming. Be an open channel to awaken
the power of your unconscious, allowing for deeper learning and
profound insights. Be with the wonder and the possibilities before
you.
His sixth invitation to you is love
like you're dancing. Self-discovery is a dance; dancing
in the moment with whatever is happening in your life. When dancing
in unison with another, be aware of the process and the revelation
of your true selves.
His seventh invitation to you is widen
your world. We are one - an interdependent whole.
Assess the global impact of you actions. Be mindful of others and
how your decisions impact others on a grand scale.
